serves the Bay Area and surrounding metro areas. We provide
wholesale construction materials for commercial HVAC mechanical
insulation and waterproofing products. We also stock FRP and 3M
fire-stopping materials. We also offer other building products for
your construction needs.As Outside Sales, you will use business
development to acquire a South Bay contractor base and more. You
will receive support from our inside sales teams in the Bay area,
delivery and warehouse teams, and manufacturing representatives
(vendors). You will be expected to initiate customer communication
in the business development process to provide sales opportunities.
You will be expected to create customer relationships that lead to
repeat business. You are provided with all the tools you need to be
a successful salesperson such as a cell phone, laptop, company
vehicle, as well as industry-leading products to sell. Our pay
structure for outside sales is a base salary plus
commission.Outside Sales Responsibilities:Prepare quotes and close
salesProduct knowledge training with customers to grow their
knowledge of products and installation practicesDetermine customer
needs and propose appropriate product solutionsAcquire new
businessAchieve sales goalsWork closely with inside sales,
warehouse personnel, management, and vendorsDevelop and maintain a
thorough knowledge of our products and servicesMaintain awareness
of market changes and competitor's actionsRequirements:Willing to
jump in and roll up your sleeves to help out when necessary
Stimulating communicators with a persuasive, but collaborative,
approach to sellingBecause goals and desired results can quickly
change, the job requires regularly meeting and pro-actively
establishing relationships with new groupsThe ability to
understand, quickly react, and motivate othersMeeting the needs of
your customer baseAble to handle multiple projects occurring
simultaneously with a sense of urgency for goal achievementKeep
others informed of the decision-making process and able to assume
responsibility for riskQualified Driving recordConstruction
Industry experience 2 or more years of sales experience Outside
