Position Overview:
The Transporter Equipment Operator is a key player in ensuring the
safe and efficient movement of rail vehicles within our facility.
You'll operate and spot Self-Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMT)
and other equipment to relocate rail vehicles onsite, and prepare
and transload vehicles onto rail flat cars or tractor trailers for
shipping.
We're looking for candidates with a background as Heavy Equipment
Operators, experienced in industries like construction, oil and
gas, logging, crane operations, or military motor T operations. The
ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of safety protocols,
including vehicle and rigging inspections, load leveling, and
center of gravity management. You'll need to be comfortable working
in diverse weather conditions, walking long distances on uneven
surfaces, and lifting heavy equipment and production parts. This
role requires strong teamwork skills and the ability to work
independently without supervision.

This position is located in Sacramento, CA. The starting hourly
range for this position is $22.29 plus 10% shift differential. This
is a second shift position. This role offers the opportunity for
overtime work based upon the needs of the business. The actual wage
offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate
experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium
geographic location.
