Boeschen Vineyards is a small family-owned vineyard and winery committed to making the best estate wines in St. Helena.All winemaking and viticulture work is performed 100% at our family owned and managed 11-acre estate vineyard. We are guided by commitment to our family, the wines we craft, the community we live in and the environment that sustains us.We are currently looking for an energetic and driven individual to help with all aspects of winemaking during our harvest season. August 18th 1st-Nov. 7th.Here are some but not all of the Winemaking intern's activities to be expected:Fruit SamplingHarvest preparationsFruit receival and processingEquipment Sanitation (processing equipment, tanks, pumps, hoses, parts etc)Fermentation Monitoring (Barrel, T-bin, and tank ferments)Nutrient additionsYeast inoculationsPump-Overs, and punch-downsWine and juice samplingOngoing sensory analysis (tasting, smelling, listening)Draining and pressingRacking wineBarrel Work: cleaning, steaming, filling, transfers etc.OrganizationGathering datawine packagingAnd so much more!Must be happy to work in a small team, be timely, not use your cellphone in the cellar, and be kind to everyone in stressful situations.Must have at least 1 harvest or have finished your winemaking studiesSend us an email and let us know why you want to make Napa Valley Wine in vintage 2025!Job category: Cellar/Lab/Bottling/Warehouse
