  Summary
  Operates radiation imaging equipment. Performs radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures and related techniques to producediagnostic images. Assists radiologist and other physicians performing imaging and invasive procedures. Provides procedural-related patient care and education. Maintains record and documentation for procedures.
  Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • Must be licensed and hold current certification in Radiologic Technology by the State of California., Radiologic Health Section,Department of Health.
    
  • Must be licensed by American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT).
    
  • Must have Fluoroscopy permit.
    
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
    
  • Basic computer literacy and applications for data entry, record maintenance.
    
  • Ability to recognize life threatening conditions and implement basic life sustaining actions.
    
  • Ability to accurately position the body for imaging. Utilize techniques to physically manipulate and apply accessories to produce adesired image.
    
  • Ability to select technical factors and operate imaging equipment to produce a quality diagnostic image.
    
  • Use of beam restricting devices, patient shielding techniques, proper screen-film combinations, assessment and implementation ofappropriate exposure to factors to minimize radiation exposure.
    
  • One year Radiologic Technologist experience in two of the following modalities: CT, MRI, Specials, Ultrasound or Nuclear Medicine.
    
  • Working hours while on-call may be inconvenient or unpleasant. Must be able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes of beingpaged while on call.

    Pay Range: $37.51 - $50.41 hourly
