  • Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: head, abdomen pelvis, will not assist with procedures
  • Experience or 'Must have' skills: Siemens MRI experience preferred
  • What EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use? Centricity for tracking
  • Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: lead tech 24/7
  • Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? no
  • Radiologist in-house 24/7: In house during the day until 6 pm, at night they are sent off to an external radiology
  • Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) no
  • Department specific orientation: Tour of unit and then one week of training.

    • Required to float/cover Xray and CT if qualified
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): Manager does schedule.
      • Shifts are 8 hour
      • Weekend Requirements: Please see shift notes for specific weekend requirements
      • Holiday Requirements: Flexibility in working
      • Call or Standby requirement? Response time: none

        • Average # of scans/studies per day
        • Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): GE Xray/Siemens MRI
        • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? Ceil blue scrubs. Not provided but Hospital has some available.
        • Department specific orientation: Tour of unit and then one week of training.
