Job Description:

Our client, a technology solutions provider company located in San Francisco, CA, needs a Sr. SQL Database Administrator for permanent employment working 4 days a week onsite in either San Ramon or San Francisco. The Sr. SQL Database Administrator will be responsible for database maintenance, data storage, and organization.Required Skills:

• 10+ years' experience supporting SQL Database's including backup, restores, and recovery models.
• Supporting SQL databases and both on-prem and azure environments.
• Experience supporting SQL Server on VMWare (On Premise).
• 5+ years of High Availability (HA), Availability Groups (AG) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
• 3+ years of experience in Azure SQL Server Managed Instances or Azure SQL Server.
• Previous Asset/Investment Management Experience.Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with high-availability solutions (Always On Availability Groups, SQL Clustering, Replication, or Log Shipping).
  • Proficient in database monitoring tools (Foglight, or SQL Server Profiler).
  • Proficiency with T-SQL for querying, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of or experience supporting .NET applications connectivity to SQL Servers.
