Job Description:
Our Esteemed Client, founded in 1939, is an independent
insurance organization that provides a variety of insurance
products and services to general business, corporate, governmental,
institutional, professional, trade association and individual
clients.
SUMMARY:
Respond to Help Desk Trouble tickets submitted by the Rocklin
office and the CheetahNet 20+ sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other
duties may be assigned.
Assists staff with the installation, configuration, and ongoing
usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software
within established standards and guidelines.
Training staff and orienting them on how to use computer hardware
and software systems.
Testing of computers and ensuring that computer systems are
functioning properly.
Physically setting up of computers and software system installation
for various computer applications and programs.
Identifying and solving any problems that affect computer operating
systems.
Discussing with individual staff members who work on the computers
what the problems is in order to figure out how to help solve the
problem. Individual assessments of computer systems to identify the
problem(s)
Maintaining other computer peripheral devices such as printers and
solving printing problems if they arise
Coordination of computer maintenance with other Information
Technology professionals such as Network Operations staff
