• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in software development and testing.
• 2 years of experience programming in Java.
• 1 year of experience with data privacy or security systems.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other similar cloud technologies.
• Experience with databases and querying languages (e.g., SQL, MySQL).Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • Experience with software development in Go, Node.js, Ruby.

    • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
    • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
    • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
    • Design, develop, and maintain services and infrastructure to facilitate the automated provisioning, updating, and management of customer Looker instances operating on multiple cloud platforms.
    • Increase performance, reliability, and observability of/into Looker functionality.
