Job Description:
Year Up United offers a one-year intensive job training program
that combines technical and professional training with access to
internships and job placement support. Participants receive an
educational stipend and personalized coaching and mentorship.The
program focuses on developing professional business and
communication skills, interviewing and networking skills, resume
building, and ongoing support to help launch a career. Some
coursework is eligible for college credit.During the internship
phase, students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week.
In-depth classes include Application Development & Support, Banking
& Customer Success, Helpdesk/Desktop Support, Project Management
Support, and Data Analytics.Year Up United graduates have a high
employment rate, with 80% employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary
education within 4 months of graduation. Employed graduates earn an
average starting salary of $53,000 per year.
