Navagis is a Google Cloud Premier Partner based in the US with offices in San Francisco, Japan, Singapore, and the Philippines. Navagis builds applications for enterprises to transform their operations with location intelligence, data discovery, machine learning, and visualization. Navagis software solutions are built using Google Maps and Google Cloud technologies and open systems to integrate various information sources into a map-driven common operating picture for the entire enterprise.
We are seeking a talented and creative Web Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our company's primary website, working on both the front-end (user-facing) and back-end (server-side) development.
Responsibilities:

• Develop interactive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, etc.).
  
• Work with the marketing team and other developers to build and maintain dynamic landing pages with targeted content.
  
• Implement and maintain custom functionalities for multilingual websites including dynamic content localization.
  
• Optimize videos, large images, and other dynamic content for fast loading times.
  
• Integrate best practices for Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  
• Manage website backups, version control, and staging environments using Github.
  
• Work independently and creatively with minimal reliance on wireframes or pre-existing assets and plugins.
  
• Collaborate with designers and other team members to ensure a cohesive user experience.
  
• Stay up-to-date on the latest web development trends and technologies.
  
  About You:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
    
  • At least three years of experience with both front-end and back-end web development including strong familiarity with WordPress.
    
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work independently and solve problems creatively.
    
  • Experience with software engineering methodologies, best practices, and modern developer tools.
    
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with a JavaScript framework (React, Vue.js, etc.) is a plus.
    
  • Experience with UI/UX concepts, website animations, and a good eye for strong web design is a plus.
    
  • Bonus points for experience with server-side scripting languages (Python, PHP, etc.).
