The team specializes in working with large data, identifying roadblocks and inefficiencies in existing ecosystems and developing tools to remove them. As a member of this Team, you will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs, application tools, networks, etc.THE PERSON:You are an experienced and hands-on Software Engineer with extensive experience in one or more programming languages. A successful candidate will work with senior silicon design engineers. The candidate will be highly accurate and detail-oriented, possessing good communication and problem-solving skills.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, build, test, monitor, manage and maintain tool chains for critical functions.
• Own and drive improvements to build, simulation, release scripts, tools, and processes.
• Automate technologies to improve the velocity and quality of engineering efforts.
• Shape and build efficient self-learning applications.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Experienced Software Engineer with extensive experience in hands-on coding and previous Lead experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of one or more programming languages including shell, C++, Perl, Python, Groovy, Java and/or Ruby.
  • Strong background in object-oriented programming.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically and to formulate solutions to problems in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
  • Ability to monitor, debug, and automate routine tasks.
  • Strong background in data analysis, data modelling techniques and data visualization techniques.
  • Expertise in Database administration and SQL.
  • Knowledge of Continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins and version control systems such as Perforce or GitHub required.
  • Very good understanding of LSF and Unix system (RedHat).
  • Experience with ASIC standard verification tools, languages, and flows is a plus.ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
    • Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering preferred.LOCATION: Santa Clara, CA preferred, Austin, TX can be an option.#LI-MR1
