iOS Software Engineer
 
MODIS is in search of a brilliant iOS Software Engineer. The iOS Software Engineer (ISE) will be an integral part of the Video Technology team, helping to build and release frameworks for the Apple iOS environments. The ideal candidate will be very familiar with the current state of online digital video delivery across mobile web, iOS Apps. The ISE will have deep experience doing full-cycle development, including coding, building and distributing iOS Apps/Frameworks using ObjectiveC, Xcode, TestFlight GIT, etc.
Additionally, ISE will be responsible for developing technical design documentation and working closely with the QA coordinator to facilitate testing in the mobile environments.

The Video Technology team develops industry leading online and mobile video delivery systems for the company's interactive sites. The team is responsible for the delivery of premium content to millions of people every day. We set company-wide video standards and help internal business units integrate the video delivery stack into their specific online products. Additionally, the team serves as the company’s information resource on current and future trends in digital video. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in doing high-visibility, mission-critical work.

Technical:
- 3+ years proven experience in end-to-end development of Apps and/or Frameworks in ObjectiveC
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and client-server communication
- Demonstrated experience in developing interactive video applications
- Experience using network proxies and other tools to debug client-side applications
- Experience with technical writing and design documentation
- Nice to haves: Experience developing with JavaScript and .Java for Android, Experience with VMAP, VAST, MRAID specifications
 
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
