Job Title: Senior Windows Systems Administrator

Job Location: San Jose, California

Reporting to: The manager of GETOPs Solutions and Compute for North America

Position Status: Non-Exempt (AWF)

Company: eBay, Inc.

Responsibilities

- Supporting the eBay, Inc. PayPal, Inc. company split from one company to two companies effort

- Working with a project team to install corporate server infrastructure in two separate hosting facilities

- Working with a project team to migrate corporate hosted application server infrastructure across multiple locations

- Administrating a corporate Cisco UCS environment

- Administrating a corporate VMWARE/VSphere environment

- Virtual Compute – Administration of a corporate Windows 2Kx Server environment virtualized using VMWARE/VSphere hosted on CISCO UCS

- Physical Compute – Administration of HP ProLiant servers

- Resolving corporate server infrastructure problems and changes in support of the company split effort

Requirements

- MIS/CS related Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

- 5 years’ experience working as a senior or higher windows systems administrator

- Experience working as a systems administrator for a company larger than 10,000 employees

- Experience working in a windows server environment consisting of greater than 1,000 windows servers

- Cisco UCS administration experience including UCS compute domain installation

- VMware Vsphere 5x administration experience including cluster installation

Recommended

- Network administration experience

- Storage administration (SAN/NAS) experience

- Change management exposure

- Scripting and automation exposure
