Job Description:

We're seeking a Sous Chef to join our Google Campus cafe team in Mountain View, CA.This role is responsible for culinary quality, service, and experience. As Sous Chef, you'll develop and direct team members to deliver delicious, nutritious food and exceptional service.You'll oversee daily administrative and operational tasks, including financial management and analysis, sanitation, and safety.You'll partner with stakeholders to promote standards, food expectations, and operational excellence.Key responsibilities:

• Design, manage, and own the overall experience.
• Follow menu and production expectations.
• Prepare well-balanced meals to fuel users.
• Set an expectation of friendly and engaging hospitality.
• Train and develop team members.
• Ensure all products and ingredients meet sector and food purchasing standards.
• Promote a culture of food and workplace safety.Requirements:
  • Preferred: Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 2 years kitchen supervisory experience or similar culinary experience.
  • Strong passion for great food and hospitality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite.
  • Interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices.
