Job Description:
Our seafood-focused restaurant and bar offers a menu showcasing
local seafood, sourced responsibly, with prices that are
approachable and fair. We provide a sense of community through
attentive service and a cozy atmosphere. We are looking for a
leader to oversee our menu, focusing on quality, sales, employee
retention, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Collaborating to improve guest experience, service, and employee
retention
* Preparing and serving food according to recipes and standards
* Developing and implementing menus, documenting recipes and
techniques
* Maintaining cost of goods at or below agreed percentage
* Attending daily meetings, providing feedback, and expediting
service
* Performing purchasing responsibilities, verifying deliveries, and
negotiating with vendors
* Supervising the kitchen team, ensuring quality standards and
establishing a positive working environment
Management Expected Behaviors include:
* Representing Maritime professionally through effective
communication and collaboration
* Demonstrating ownership, focus, determination, and integrity in
