Job Description:

Assist the Team Leader in daily operations including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects. Lead and develop Team Members.Ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members at all times.

• Develop and maintain creative store layout and product merchandising.
• Work with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assist Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports, and labor.
• Maintain good vendor relationships and awareness of new products.
• Resolve team concerns and function as point person in absence of Team Leader.
• Foster a positive environment of teamwork and exceptional morale.
• Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs and direct Team Members to satisfy and delight customers.
• Select, train, develop, and counsel Team Members to sustain a high-performance team.Key skills include:

    • Lift 50 pounds.
    • Stand/walk 6-8 hours.
    • Use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
    • Work in wet and dry conditions.
    • Use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, and heavy machinery.
