Job Description:

Position: Clinical Engineer (20 open positions)

Start: Late March

End: 18 months

Expenses: Mileage will be reimbursed for any distance over 50 miles

Location: Will travel to all CA markets and Portland Oregon area

Onsite/Remote:

Will work remotely from home but able to travel to the sites 50%-60% of the time
Initially, a lot of building and testing (will require onsite to look at data flow, all the different devices)

Will vary from week to week
Some weeks could be onsite all week, and some weeks may be remote

1st week or 2, they will have the BIOMED show them around, but then they will need to be able to work independently
Hours worked:Some work will be after hours and on weekends (they will try and limit this as much as possible, but there will be times due to patient care to do after hours - early morning/night)
Will have to work with each department
These people will know and understand if they've done this type of role before



Ventilators/Anesthesia Carts/Patient Monitoring


Scope of Work:

Manage medical device integration processes, including technical setup and troubleshooting, and collaborate with CSTs and other Clinical Engineers.



Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering preferred

Experience:
2+ years in healthcare technology and clinical engineering systems, with experience integrating medical devices into EMR systems or migrating medical devices into new EMR systems.
Epic EMR experience is a plus.

Technical Skills:
Understanding of medical device data and medical device integration.
Familiarity with software systems and network protocols such as HL7, TCP/IP, and others.
Experience with diagnostic imaging systems and cybersecurity is desirable.\

Responsibilities:
Implement and manage medical device integration processes, including technical setup and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with CSTs and other CEs to ensure successful integration.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and optimize clinical solutions.
