  • A hospital near Sacramento is looking for experienced ER nurses for a travel contract
  • The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, have trauma experience
  • Hold an active BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH and CA License
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of experience
    • Trauma experience
    • Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH
    • Must hold a CA License
    • Level II Trauma experience required
    • Level I Trauma experience would be a PLUS!
    • Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips
    • Experience with the standard ED patients
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hr shifts
      • Shift starts at 645
      • OT and extra shifts are available
      • Self-scheduling is used
      • Schedules are out 4 weeks in advance
      • Every other weekend requirement
      • Rotate in with core staff during holidays
        • Unit Specific Information
        • EMR: Cerner
        • Scrub Color: Navy
        • Vents: Yes
        • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house
        • IV Team: No
        • RT 24/7: Yes
        • Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
        • Floating: All other Sacramento facilities
        • Floor specific orientation: 1 - 2 days with a preceptor
        • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Primary trauma center for the area
          • Additional Details
          • Modules are required before start and take 3-4 hours
          • For Holiday RTO: Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays
          • Managers will make the final call on scheduling
          • For acceptance, the DYS EXAM (BASIC) through UNA is REQUIRED along with acceptance
          • A SCREENSHOT SHOWING THE NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS IS REQUIRED
          • If your traveler fails the 2nd attempt, they will be made DNU for CommonSpirit AZ and Sac
