Primary Role
*** This position can report to Sacramento, Monterey or Rosemead,
California American Water offices***
The base salary range represents a good faith salary range for this
position. This position is eligible for annual incentive pay and
has the opportunity for continued salary growth. If you are hired
at American Water your base salary compensation will be determined
based on factors such as market, geography, skills, education
and/or experience. At American Water, we are committed to pay

Position salary range: $75,504.00 to $126,126.00
Responsible for strategic long-term water and wastewater system
planning and recommending projects or approaches to address needs
related to source of supply, treatment, storage, pumping and
transmission of water as well as collection, equalization, and
treatment of wastewater. The analysis and recommended solutions
will affect the performance and operational integrity of water and
wastewater systems within American Water. This position is also
responsible for conducting or reviewing water and wastewater system
capacity and service evaluations associated with water or sewer
service extension projects or other potential service growth
opportunities. Prepare or assist in the preparation of detailed
asset investment plans considering the cost, timing,
prioritization, operational need and risk, strategic investment fit
and other pertinent factors surrounding individual projects or
investment programs.
