You will get hands on experience with building optical systems, lasers, robotics, electrical, mechanical, supercomputer systems, software systems and networks to name a few!You will Learn:

• How to interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Collect, log, and interpret data for daily reports
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings
• Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
• Work effectively across different functional teams in different locations.Job Description
  • Perform Assist with performing the set-up, calibration, and testing of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
  • May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
  • Work on assignments that are complex in nature where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations.
  • Simple troubleshooting as neededQualifications, but not limited to:
    • Ability to work in a clean room manufacturing environment is required.
    • You must be okay working 40 hours a week during the summer and 20 hours a week minimum during the school year.
    • Basic understanding of optics, mechanical, and electrical principles is helpful.
    • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
    • Demonstrate excellent organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management and task prioritization.
    • Willingness to learn, collaborate effectively within and across teams, and strive for continuous improvement.
    • You can stand, sit, bend, and periodically lift to 50 pounds with assistance.
