• Set up test benches and computers based on released protocols/instructions.
• Support development of test benches for subsystem and subassembly electromechanical hardware testing during design development, in manufacturing and/or for reliability.
• Debug and modify existing test scripts.
• Execute tests and collect test data based on test instructions.
• Document results and report to engineers. Responsibilities:
• Document results and report to engineers.
• Knowledge of programming concepts and ability to modify existing scripts (Python and Unix).
• Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
• Experience using data acquisition systems. Preferred:
• Intermediate knowledge of automation and servo control systems.
• Work experience within a Medical Device manufacturing environment. Experience:
• Electromechanical hardware testing.
• Fixtures setup, test execution, data collection, and documentation.
• Script modification, test setup debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Product Development Testing. Skills:
• Electromechanical Hardware Testing. Education:
• Engineering degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics plus 3 years of industry experience.
