solutions to highly complex challenges? As part of our Silicon
Technologies group, you'll help design and manufacture our
next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor,
system-on-chip (SoC). You'll ensure Apple products and services can
seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved

products containing an Apple designed GPU. As part of the GPU
Memory Hierarchy Design team, you'll be responsible for crafting
and building a GPU that enriches the lives of millions of people
every day!Descriptionmodelers in order to assess the feasibility of
ideas, refine ideas, and seed new ones. You will specify new
micro-architecture and optimize existing ones; you will use your
intuition gained from experience as a guide but not as a filter.
The role requires the analysis of specific workloads across
existing and new product categories to identify bottlenecks and
opportunities for improvement. As a member of the GPU
micro-architecture team, you will collaborate to improve our
processes and look for ways to boost the efficiency of the entire
team!Minimum QualificationsExperience with CPU or GPU architecture
and micro-architecture conceptsExperience in one of the following
areas: cache, memory subsystem, on-chip interconnect network, data
compression or GPU pipelineProficiency in high performance, low
power designsProficiency in Verilog/System Verilog and HDLMinimum
of BS degree and 10+ years of relevant experiencePreferred
QualificationsKnowledge in C/C++Experience in scripting languages
such as Perl, Python and RubyHands-on experience with RTL or
architectural modelingAble to work in an environment of uncertainty
and navigate through ambiguitiesStrong communication, influence,
and negotiation skillsPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part
of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop
within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800
and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills,
qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have
the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through
participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if
