You will be responsible for growing Highwire's influencer marketing capabilities, cultivating relationships with key influencers, and leveraging key platforms to amplify campaign results. This role will focus on driving measurable business outcomes through influencer and social media integration, leading business growth by nurturing client relationships and expanding service offerings. You will also mentor a team of influencer and social media professionals, fostering creativity and excellence in execution.Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Innovation:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive influencer marketing and social media strategy that aligns with clients' broader communications and business goals.
  • Stay at the forefront of influencer marketing and social media trends, platforms, and tools, ensuring Highwire remains an industry leader in both spaces.
  • Innovate Highwire's approach by integrating influencer marketing with social media, maximizing engagement and impact.
  • Recommend influencer marketing platforms for internal adoption and ongoing partnerships.
  • Demonstrate an evidence-based opinion on the future of influencer marketing, campaign integration, and brand / executive collaborations.
  • Represent the agency through thought leadership, speaking engagements and attendance at relevant industry events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate influencer marketing programs into broader PR and digital campaigns.
    • Influencer Strategy:
    • Lead influencer marketing strategy and execution for key accounts, ensuring programs align with client objectives to maximize results.
    • Develop innovative campaigns that leverage influencers, generating organic buzz and increasing engagement across multiple platforms.
    • Identify opportunities to expand social media and influencer marketing services with existing clients by introducing new tactics, platforms, and creative approaches.
    • Drive content creation strategies that resonate with target audiences, working closely with influencers and internal creative teams to produce compelling, shareable content.
      • Business Growth & Client Leadership:
      • Lead influencer marketing engagements for key accounts, ensuring impactful programs exceed client expectations.
      • Develop and nurture relationships with influencers and social media leaders in key industries, including technology, consumer, and B2B sectors.
      • Drive organic growth by identifying opportunities to incorporate influencer marketing into existing client strategies.
      • Lead new business pitches, developing and presenting innovative strategies that integrate influencer marketing for maximum impact.
      • Build strong senior-level client relationships, providing strategic counsel on influencer partnerships and campaign execution.
        • Team Leadership & Development:
        • Mentor andlead a team of influencer marketing strategists, fostering a collaborative culture that drives creativity, innovation, and high-quality execution.
        • Provide coaching and development opportunities to ensure the team remains on the cutting edge of influencer marketing trends.
        • Encourage experimentation with new platforms, tools, and creative strategies to expand Highwire's capabilities in influencer marketing.
        • Collaborate with PR, creative, and content teams to ensure seamless integration of influencer strategies into client campaigns.
          • Client Success & Operational Excellence:
          • Ensure influencer marketing programs are executed with precision, driving measurable, data-driven results for clients.
          • Implement best practices for influencer engagement, content creation, and campaign measurement.
          • Establish and track KPIs to ensure client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and consistent growth across influencer programs.
          • Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize performance and deliver on client objectives.Qualifications
            • 12+ years of experience in influencer marketing, social media strategy, digital marketing, or communications, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
            • Expertise in identifying, engaging, and managing relationships with influencers across multiple platforms, along with deep knowledge of social media strategy and execution.
            • Demonstrated experience leading and growing influencer marketing and social media programs within an agency environment.
            • Knowledge and experience developing influencer marketing programs in highly regulated industries is a plus.
            • Strong client-facing skills, with experience building, retaining, and growing senior-level client relationships.
            • Proven ability to develop and execute data-driven influencer and social media strategies that generate measurable business outcomes.
            • Experience mentoring and leading teams, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.
            • Strong understanding of content creation, influencer partnerships, and social media platforms.
            • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients and internal teams at all levels.
            • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality results.
            • Experience identifying, vetting and managing vendor relationships for role-specific tools such as influencer identification, relationship management or attribution measurement platforms.Highwire Perks
