Developers and companies around the world build on it, and the SDF team is expanding to support the rapidly growing and changing Stellar ecosystem.We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who is passionate about building an organization's business intelligence and ability to make data-driven decisions.Guided by the SDF's annual strategy and north stars, the successful candidate will work with internal stakeholders to advise and inform strategy through data-driven, actionable insights. They will work within the Office of the CEO, reporting to the Chief of Staff, and play a key role in operationalizing data into strategy development and assessment. This role contextualizes what is happening within the Stellar ecosystem and provides mission-aligned recommendations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to tell the Stellar story.In this role, you will:

• Support data-driven decision-making by answering questions that craft a clear understanding of SDF's progress
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document data, analytics and reporting requirements
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and make business recommendations
• Conduct end-to-end analyses, and build visualizations and reporting that enable data-driven decision-making
• Communicate compelling and practical insights from data analysis and present them regularly
• Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting
• Collaborate cross-functionally with a variety of roles (e.g. engineers, business development, executives)Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of business processes and ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • 5+ years' of active experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex data sets and synthesizing data insights into actionable recommendations
  • Proficiency in data querying and data analysis over large data sets, using SQL
  • Familiarity with data visualization toolsWe offer competitive pay with a base salary range for this position of $130,000-$175,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, we offer lumen-denominated grants along with the following perks and benefits:
